Wildflowers found on this hike

Twin Owls

This was our anniversary hike! We walked up to Gem Lake to eat our picnic lunch and drink champagne, then strolled back down to eat our anniversary dinner at the Twin Owls restaurant. The trail features odd shaped rock formations. Gem Lake is certainly worth the walk, small but beautiful. There were stretches of trail where rock steps had been carved out through groves of wild roses.
