Sleeping Elephant Mountain

A hike up a gulch from the Cache la Poudre River. Lots of columbine. A wide variety of flora. A small stream that crosses and recrosses the path, usually narrow enough to jump across. Not too many wide mountain views. Sleeping Elephant Mountain is not viewed from this trail, but from further down the road through the canyon.
