Wildflowers found on this hike

ducklings

I hike this trail a lot because the park is only five minutes from my house. This was a wet spring and I ran into a lot of mud, and some of the trail was actually a foot deep in running water. Still, there are a lot of wildflowers, some of them ones that only bloom in wet springs, so I hadn't seen them for the last several years. This is a great trail for bird watching, with numerous species of waterfowl. I don't have a telephoto, so I don't get many pictures. There are also a lot of bugs. Bring mosquito repellent!
