The East Canyon hike is the newest hike in Castlewood Canyon. It is along, into, and out of the canyon east of the highway. It travels along the rim, down into the canyon, and out onto the grassland. The varied terrain leads to finding varied flowers. I didn't find many in the grasslands, I'll have to try again next year.
